History

On June 26, 1977, 1st Missionary Baptist Church of Bellflower, CA commissioned Bill Gurnett (mission pastor) to go to Casa Grande, AZ to begin a mission work. On November 19, 1983 The Casa Grande work was organized by the 1st Missionary Baptist Church of Bellflower as the 1st Missionary Baptist Church of Casa Grande, AZ. On November 30, 1983 the church called James Cain to be their 1st pastor (he also preached the charge to the church at the organizational service). After a name change, in 2004, we are now Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
